One of the charities supported by United Way
In July-August 2004 United Way NZ provided $886,904 in grants to 188 local charities in ten regions throughout New Zealand.

Public grant allocation events were hosted in 2004 by a number of New Zealand Mayors including Mark Bell-Booth, Kerry Prendergast, Garry Moore and Sukhi Turner.
