Our van team was approached by a man and his 10 year old daughter at 2:15 am one Friday morning. He said that his benefit had been stopped, and he had been evicted from his flat. We were able to arrange temporary accommodation, and have now worked on his behalf with Work and Income, plus his landlord. He has been able to return to his flat, his benefit has been reinstated and he is working with one of our budget advisors. |
