Battered Women’s Trust - ChristchurchClient “O” and her 4 children aged between 6 and 12 transferred to
Christchurch to escape a life of financial, sexual, physical and emotional abuse
from her partner and wider family. Violence had been an entrenched way of
life. Client “O” has regularly attended our Support Group and our advocate
organised children’s programmes for the children to attend. The children are
now all settled in their new home and schools and the mother is now ready to
look for part-time work. The family is now living safely and without fear. |
