Over the last ten years over 226 community charities have been supported by United Way in the greater Auckland area. This collective impact has mobilised over 11,312 volunteers within the community.
United Way New Zealand are currently inviting submissions for fund management opportunities, corporate/business sponsorship, payroll giving and donations to support charities making a social difference, for the 2019 Grant awards and for resources required for community groups in the greater Auckland area.
This collective fund makes a real difference to the Charities, doing necessary community work, for optimal social impact, in Auckland.
Over the past couple of years United Way has contributed to the following Community Groups in Auckland:
Age Concern North Shore, Children's Autism Foundation, Crescendo Trust of Aotearoa, East Auckland Home & Budget Service Charitable Trust, Father and Child Trust, Glen Taylor School Reading Oasis Programme, Hibiscus Coast Youth Centre, Mangere Budgeting and Family Services, North Harbour Budgeting, North Rodney Blue Light Ventures Inc, Tamaki Community Development Trust, The Rising Foundation Trust, Volunteering Auckland Trust, Waitakere WEA (Waitakere City Workers Educational), Waves Trust.
