United Way started in New Zealand 44 years ago and have expanded it's donations into many regional bases. Applications for community funding are open in October and donations are distributed to community groups every March.

In 2019 we launched our Hearts@Work service to provide further support to our communities groups throughout the year. This programme provides coaching and specialist capacity building guidance to community charities. Hearts@Work services also extend to businesses wanting to engage with community.

We are thankful to the community organisations we support, who put their hearts on the line for their local community.  If you would like to know more about Hearts@Work please contact us at admin@unitedway.org.nz
