South Canterbury

United Way New Zealand (UWNZ) are currently inviting submissions for fund management opportunities, corporate/business sponsorship, payroll giving and donations to support charities making a social difference, in the South Canterbury region.

Over the last ten years over 310 community charities have been supported by United Way in the entire Canterbury region. This collective impact has mobilised over 46,385 volunteers.

UWNZ would like to thank The Tindall Foundation and regional payroll givers contributing to the United Way Community Funding in South Canterbury.  Through this collective fund we have financially supported the following charities in the last two years:

SOUTH CANTERBURY GRANT AWARD RECIPIENTS

Aoraki Migrant Centre
Citizen Advice Bureau South Canterbury Inc
Learning for You South Canterbury
Life Education Trust Mid and South Canterbury
Parkinsons Society South Canterbury
South Canterbury Women's Wellness Centre Inc
Timaru Senior Citizens
Victim Support

We would like to thank our Regional Ambassador Liz Shea for her ongoing commitment to United Way in South Canterbury. Liz is featured in this photo with Teresa Moore (UWNZ CEO) and Rosie Oliver (UWNZ Regional Volunteer)
